Interview: Ilse Alcorta

Ilse Alcorta‘s name, face and feet are becoming more and more well-known to foot lovers. The 20-something is experiencing an ever-growing surge in popularity, and is often inundated with emails, instant messages, tweets and other forms of contact from fans and followers of her online activity. So even though Ilse has a reputation for being among the nicest girls showing off her tootsies online, I was still pleasantly surprised when she not only agreed to contribute a few images to the site, but accepted my request for an interview as well.

You’ve visited my site before, and you know all about its theme. So let me start there. What do you think of FootFetishArtist.com? Be honest. I can take it! Yes, I’ve visited the site, and I like it! I really like when the pictures are not vulgar or porn like. I like clean and cute pictures, and that’s exactly what you feature there. I also love the whole monkey concept; he’s a very cute monkey! Haha.

Thanks! It’s good to know that there are people who appreciate the fact that I make it a point to keep my blog clean. Do you think your feet are attractive? I do now, but I didn’t before. I guess compliments do raise my self esteem.

I’m glad. What is your favorite thing thing about your feet? I like that my toenails are big, even the little one is big.

When did you first receive a compliment on your feet? Who paid you the compliment? I think it was my older sister. She was complaining about her feet, and she looked at mine and said mine were pretty, that was a long time ago, but I’m pretty sure that was the first compliment.

When did you first realize that some guys are really, really, REALLY into girls’ feet? I’ve always known this, ever since i can remember. I’ve always known that some guys like feet, just some like a pretty face or some other parts of a girls’ body. It was never a big deal for me.

What colors do you like to see on your toes? Do you always match your fingernails and toenails? I love using red on my toes. I think it’s a classic, and it’s always feminine and pretty. I also like pink, purple and black. I don’t always match my fingernails and my toenails, i almost always wear red on my fingernails. I love red!

I’ve noticed. Have your feet ever been kissed? If so, by whom? No, my feet have never been kissed. I’ve never dated a guy with a foot fetish, but I really want to now, haha. I’m so curious, since all of my followers are always talking about kissing my feet and all that, so now I do want someone to kiss my feet, haha.

Do you go barefoot often? Only when I’m in my room. I like the soft feeling of the carpet. I don’t really like walking barefoot outside or anywhere else. I’m always scared of stepping on sharp rocks or something like that and hurting my soles.

What size shoe do you wear? I wear a size 8.

Do you have a favorite shoe brand or designer? I don’t really have a favorite shoe brand or designer. I just mainly go with whichever pair is the cutest, haha. I like girly shoes, high heels, pumps, wedges… Anything pink and sparkly has my full attention! *haha*

How many pairs of shoes do you own? Recently, my collection has been growing thanks to my blog followers who send me nice shoes. I probably have around 30 pairs of shoes.

What is your favorite pair? Right now my favorite pair is a sparkly gold pair of peep toe pumps by Betsey Johnson.

What was your last clothing purchase? Mmm… I think it was light, white tunic with a golden owl. It’s super cute.

When you go out shopping for shoes, do you try the items on at the store or can you tell by looking at the size and cut of the item whether or not it will fit? I always try them on first, even though I can tell if the shoe will fit me by just looking at it. I like to see how it looks on my feet before purchasing it.

If someone wanted to get you a pair as a gift, what should they buy? High heels! *haha* I like shoes that have girly and sexy accents, like bows or glitter or just anything pretty.

What convinced you to start both a blog and YouTube channel dedicated to your feet? I have a personal blog on tumblr, and some of my followers were always requesting feet pictures and videos, and that started to annoy the rest of my followers. So I decided to do a separate blog for my feet related posts, and YouTube seemed like a good place to upload all of those requested videos.

Tell me about your site. What makes it special? Why should readers visit? My site is for people who like feet without nudity or any sexual innuendo. I think that a lot of foot fetish sites are pornographic; they’re always depicting naked girls or actual sexual acts, and I think that not everyone likes that. I know that there’s people who like looking at feet only, and that’s what my site offers. It’s a clean and nice approach to the foot fetish.

You and I share a liking for the clean, fun approach. How do you decide what kinds of photos to share on your blog and what kinds of videos to post on YouTube? I always ask my followers. I like knowing what they want to see. Since Idon’t have a foot fetish myself, it’s always hard for me to know what a foot fetishist would like to see, so that’s why my followers’ opinions are so important to me. I always try my best to please them and keep them happy.

Do you have any upcoming photo sets or videos that you think your fans/followers should be on the lookout for soon? Yes! Tons of stuff! I’m constantly updating my blog and coming up with new ideas for photo sets. I think they should always be on the lookout!

What do you think of most of the foot fetishists with whom you’ve interacted online? Have you had good experiences? I think that guys with foot fetishes are the nicest guys ever! Seriously, I’ve met some incredibly nice people thanks to my blogs and YouTube channel, and I’m truly thankful to have the opportunity to interact with such nice people.

Have you had any bad experiences? Yes, I’ve also come across some not so nice people, even rude people. I received a message once from a guy who got upset with me because I don’t like to suck on my toes! *haha*

Unfortunately, there will always be a few rotten apples in every bunch. I’m just glad you haven’t allowed them to dissuade you from doing what you do. I really dig your comic book/superhero t-shirts. Where do you get them? Thank you so much! I’m really glad you like them. I mostly get them at Hot Topic and the Disney Store.

I keep forgetting that Disney owns Marvel now! Are you really a fan of comics and superheroes? I do love superheroes! My favorite is Thor. That’s because I have a thing for mythology. *haha* I also like Spider-Man and Wolverine.

And you’re wearing a Thor t-shirt in your photos! That’s cool. I may have to send you something superhero-related. What advice would you offer young women who want to be fashionable, but still retain their own unique identities? Just to be themselves, wear whatever feels comfortable. I really think that confidence makes the difference. If you wear something that you don’t feel comfortable with, it’ll show, and that’s never good. So, as long as you feel good and pretty, you will look pretty.

That’s good advice. Have you communicated with or met any other foot girls or foot fetish models? Actually, no, I’ve never met any other foot girl, i know there are tons of foot girls out there. In fact, I’ve seen a lot of them on YouTube and tumblr. They’re all very pretty, and I’m sure they’re just as nice.

You’ve got a pretty positive attitude about the overall foot fetish community. Do friends and/or family know about your site and YouTube account? If so, how do you explain it? Yes, they know. I think that “fetish” is a strong word, and most people freak out when they hear it. So i always leave that word out. I just tell them that I show my feet online, on videos and pictures, that I have a foot blog, and I even show them some of the pictures i post. I’m honestly not ashamed of it. I think that everything I post is clean, and I have absolutely no problem with anyone looking at it.

I agree with you about the word fetish, and have even considered using a different title for this site. What else would you like to share about yourself or your blogs that I haven’t already asked? I think that you pretty much covered everything!
