Quite a few people have encouraged me to build my own site, so here it is! Up to this point I kept putting it off because I wasn’t sure there was a need for it. After all, I’ve got an abandoned Blogger, a seldom visited MySpace and a sorely neglected LiveJournal, all of which I could use for posting. Then there’s always Flickr and Photobucket if I just want to upload images to share with people. And I’m also on Twitter quite a bit. Add to that the fact that I’m not out to sell anything, and it would seem to make having my own site unnecessary.
Then I realized that it would be great to have one central location where all of those things come together. Besides, who says that there has to be some grand purpose behind having a website? Just because is reason enough!
I decided to go with WordPress instead of building something from scratch, and now that it’s almost done, I have to admit that those who said I would appreciate having some of the functionality already built in were right. I wanted something visually fun and easy to navigate, and think this design meets both of those criteria.
I know that the term “foot fetish” conjures all sorts of wild imagery in people’s minds, but anyone visiting FootFetishArtist.com in hopes of finding nudity (above the ankles) or other inappropriate content will be disappointed. Here it’s all about fun, playful celebration of pretty female feet!
Oh, and I’ll still be posting irreverent (and quite possibly irrelevant) stuff via Twitter, too, so if you don’t mind seeing tweets on everything from television to politics to comic books to (yes) foot fetish commentary showing up in your timeline, feel free to send me a follow request.
